Award to recognize francophone Young Millionaires

SUMMERSIDE, PEI – Feb. 14, 2013 – PERCÉ, the internship program for postsecondary students hosted by RDÉE Prince Edward Island, is a new sponsor of this year’s edition of the Acadian Entrepreneurs’ Gala. This sponsorship will grant the privilege to PERCÉ to present the brand-new “Young Millionaires Award” to recognize the efforts and dedication of one of the small businesses established last summer by francophone participants in the Young Millionaires Program.

PERCÉ is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.

Christian Gallant, the development officer responsible for the PERCÉ program, is shown handing the $1,000 sponsorship cheque to Carrie Cormier, assistant coordinator of the gala.

Organized by the Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI, this banquet of recognition is slated for Saturday, March 16, at the Centre Belle-Alliance in Summerside. Tickets are now on sale at the centre as well as at the RDÉE’s offices in Wellington and Charlottetown.
