Chasing away stress

WELLINGTON, PEI – April 10, 2013 – Wanting to learn how to reduce and prevent stress in their lives, 11 Prince County residents participated this spring in a series of courses delivered in Wellington by holistic health practitioner Denise Arsenault.

Co-owner of the Health Within Holistic Centre in Charlottetown, Arsenault showed participants a wide variety of physical and emotional exercises that can be used to maintain or re-establish one’s calm.

In the first photo, participants Lori Doucette and Priscilla Handrahan from the Tignish area practice one of the suggested exercises.

In the second shot, Arsenault can be seen demonstrating a meditation pose.

The series of sessions was so appreciated that it has been decided to continue it in the coming weeks. These sessions are organized jointly by the Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI, the Wellington Rural Action Centre and Actions Femmes Î.-P.-É.
