Collège Acadie Î.-P.-É. better informed on integration of international students

WELLINGTON, PEI – Jan. 30, 2014 – All professors and administrators from the Collège Acadie Î.-P.-É. had the opportunity to participate in an informative workshop on the integration of international students Wednesday, Jan. 29.

This interesting workshop was provided through a collaboration between RDÉE Prince Edward Island’s LIENS project (Linking economic immigration to our successes) and the Coopérative d’intégration francophone de l’Î.-P.-É. (CIF).

The partners retained the services of Diversis, a New Brunswick firm, to provide the professors and administrators with a better understanding of different cultural norms and their impact on communication, better ways of communicating with people of other cultures and methods for adapting teaching approaches and interaction.
