Exploring the process for hiring immigrants

SUMMERSIDE, PEI – Feb. 8, 2013 – Ten people benefitted from the workshop “The process for hiring newcomers”, delivered through RDÉE Prince Edward Island’s LIENS project, Feb. 7, in Summerside. Guest speaker Lori-Ann Cyr, centre, executive director of Diversis Inc. of New Brunswick, listed in great detail the numerous steps that must be followed and answered several questions. The speaker is seen here with, from left, Nancy Clement and Dandan Wang from the PEI Association of Newcomers to Canada, Bonnie Gallant, executive director of RDÉE PEI, and Gregory Urier from the Coopérative d’intégration francophone de l’Î.-P.-É. This workshop was the second of three information sessions being organized by the LIENS project, which is funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada.
