Participants learn about federal program for rural and co-operative development
The guest speaker was Robert Maddix, regional advisor for PEI with the Rural and Co-operative Secretariat, a division of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. He spoke about the four categories of projects that could potentially be funded by the Community Development Program and the Co-operative Development Initiative. Participants then asked a quantity of questions to determine if their projects could qualify for funding.

Standing are Angèle Arsenault, president of the Conseil de développement coopératif de l’Î.-P.-É., and Roger Gallant, chairman of the Abram’s Village Municipal Council.
