A toast to partnership between three chambers of commerce

CORNWALL, PEI – Nov. 22, 2011 – A pleasant gathering of chambers took place Thursday, Nov. 17, as representatives from three different chambers participated in a business mixer in Cornwall, PEI.

Proposing a toast to their ongoing partnership are, front left, Maurice Guitton, president of the French Chamber of Commerce in Canada – Atlantic Network; Jeannette Arsenault, spokesperson for the Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI (CCAFLIPE); Kathy Hambly, executive director of the Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce (the organization hosting the event); and Martin Marcoux, president of RDÉE Prince Edward Island (the CCAFLIPE’s parent organization).

The CCAFLIPE and the RDÉE shared a booth during this regular November business mixer; for the second year in a row, they had invited the French Chamber of Commerce to share the booth. It offered free samples of the French wine Beaujolais nouveau, which had just been launched that very day.

The event proved to be an excellent networking event for all partners as well over 100 people attended.
