“Grade 4 and 6 French Immersion and French First Language students designed posters to promote our very first major French book expo,” said Minister McIsaac. “I encourage everyone to visit the Salon du livre Facebook page, vote for their favorite poster and plan to attend this great event in June.”

The first edition of the Salon du livre de l’Île-du-Prince-Édouard will be held on June 5-7, 2014 at the Centre Belle-Alliance in Summerside.  The Salon du livre will feature a number of authors from Atlantic Canada and Quebec and French books will be available for sale. The authors will also take the opportunity to visit Island schools and share their experiences with students.

Voting in the poster contest is open until March 13. To vote and to get more information on the Salon du livre de l’Île-du-Prince-Édouard visit their Facebook page at Salon-du-livre-ÎPÉ (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Salon-du-livre-ÎPÉ/426453860818357)
