The executive committee consists of four (4) directors: president, vice-president, secretary, and treasurer.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

To ensure its transition, the outgoing presidency may continue to sit on the executive committee, without voting rights, for a period of one (1) year. However, to be able to sit on it, the outgoing presidency must still be part of the board of directors.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

The general management of RD\u00c9E \u00ceP\u00c9 sits on the executive committee. However, it does not have voting rights.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

At their first meeting following the annual general meeting, the directors sitting on the board of directors elect the executive committee from among themselves.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The terms are two years. Members of the executive committee are elected by a simple majority vote of the directors.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

The positions of secretary and treasurer can be combined into one under the title of secretary-treasurer.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

The terms of office for members of the executive are renewable up to a maximum of two (2) times. Executive advisors can therefore be consecutively elected for a maximum term of six (6) years.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

To the extent possible, the executive committee should be composed of equal representatives from the business sector and the community sector.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

At each annual general meeting, elections will be held for two of the four executive members to maintain a constant rotation of members.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

The outgoing president will be entitled to continue to serve on the executive in an advisory capacity, but without voting rights, for a period of one year, if the executive deems it desirable or necessary.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

  • Ensures the implementation of the board of directors' decisions; ;<\/li>
  • Monitor and control the implementation of the annual or triennial strategic plan approved by the board of directors; ;<\/li>
  • Coordinate the work of committees between board meetings; ;<\/li>
  • Ensure coordination of government relations activities according to board of directors' guidelines. ;<\/li>
  • Conduct risk analysis related to the board of directors' orientations and directives, and report on it to the board of directors; ;<\/li>
  • You contribute to good financial administration by presenting annual budgets to the board of directors; ;<\/li>
  • Ensures financial control within the parameters of the annual budget approved by the board of directors; ;<\/li>
  • Lead the external verification process and present the report to the board of directors; ;<\/li>
  • Hiring, contract negotiation, evaluation, and, if applicable, the dismissal of the general management; ;<\/li>
  • Perform any other mandate delegated by the board of directors.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
