WELLINGTON, PEI – Oct. 24, 2012 – Rick Arsenault, manager of Wellington Co-op, shows one of the 10 beautifully decorated and delicious cakes that were entered in a 2012 Co-op Week cake-baking contest at the store Friday, Oct. 19.

Heather Poitier of Lennox Island won first prize, a $100 gift certificate at the store; Doris Arsenault of Urbainville took the $75 second prize while Rose Arsenault of Wellington earned the $50 third prize.

Judges Lisa Arsenault, Pam Arsenault and Zita Arsenault enjoyed every moment of the cake tasting required to determine the winners.
