CHARLOTTETOWN – Feb. 11, 2025 – For the second year in a row, the IMPACT DD project will be a Platinum-level sponsor of the 2025 Entrepreneurs’ Gala, providing the project with a platform to present its IMPACT DD Annual Recognition Award for 2025.
Gala coordinator Alecia Arsenault recently met with Florian Enjalbal, Economic Development Officer with RDÉE Prince Edward Island and the person responsible for the program, to discuss the sponsorship, the evening’s schedule, and how the award presentation will fit into the event.
The Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI, which organizes the Gala, is pleased to welcome this presentation once again this year; in fact, it will be the second award of the evening.
Enjalbal noted that last year, the names of the finalists were announced in advance. This year, however, the reveal will take place during the event itself. The award was established last year specifically to highlight the significant efforts in the area of sustainable development, made by the province’s businesses and organizations, thereby making a positive contribution to the environment, the province’s social fabric and local governance.
The public is invited to attend the Gala, which will be held at the Village musical acadien in Abram-Village on Saturday, March 22, starting at 5:30 p.m. Five additional awards will be presented, and four retired or retiring entrepreneurs will be inducted into the PEI Acadian and Francophone Business Hall of Fame. Tickets are available in person at the Wellington Rural Action Centre, by phone at 902-854-3439 or at marthe@rdeeipe.org.
