WELLINGTON – Feb. 15, 2017 – For the 10th year in a row, the Evangeline-Central Credit Union has been sponsoring the annual Entrepreneurs’ Gala, organized by the Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce. This year, in exchange for its $1,000 sponsorship, the Credit Union gets to present the brand new 2017 Social Economy Business Award to one of three finalists: the Coopérative d’intégration francophone de l’Î.-P.-É., Le Chez-nous Co-op or The Bottle Houses.

During this evening of entrepreneurial recognition, Saturday, March 18, at the Centre Belle-Alliance in Summerside, various other sponsors will present six other awards to deserving people and businesses. Tickets for the evening are on sale until March 10 at the Centre Belle-Alliance, the Wellington Rural Action Centre and the Carrefour de l’Isle-Saint-Jean in Charlottetown.
