The course will be delivered in English from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at the Collège de l’Île at 48 Mill Road, Wellington. The trainer will be Alvin Smith, occupational health and safety training coordinator with the JVI Transportation and Safety Academy of Summerside. The registration fee is $40.25 (tax included) per person.
WHMIS regulations were broadened last summer. The Feb. 6 course will therefore cover all regulations and practices now required by the national law. Usually, workers must renew their WHMIS certification every three years.

To register, contact Josée Ouellette at (902) 854-3439, Ext. 228, or josee@rdeeipe.org by Friday, Feb. 2. The registration fee can be paid either by cash, by cheque payable to RDÉE PEI or by credit card (with a service fee of $2).
