ABRAM-VILLAGE – March 4, 2025 – Since the very beginning of the Francophone Ignition Contest, the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA) has supported RDÉE Prince Edward Island in the coordination and promotion of the event, as well as in the training that is provided to the contestants. Without this contribution, the RDÉE would not be able to offer this great entrepreneurial competition.

The training of five contestants took place at the start of February. Then, mid-month, a pre-selection processed narrowed down the list of finalists to three.

And now, on Wednesday, March 5, at 7 p.m., the grand finale will take place at the Village musical acadien in Abram Village. Everyone is invited to attend, free of charge, to watch the competition, which unfolds in a style like what is seen on Shark Tank and Dragons’ Den. The champion entrepreneurial project, as determined by a panel of independent judges, will earn a $25,000 investment of Innovation PEI’s Ignition Fund.
