Happy winner of the 2025 Young Millionaires basket

WELLINGTON – August 21, 2025 – Amélia Arsenault from the Evangeline region is the lucky winner of this lovely basket filled with products made and donated by French-speaking participants of the 2025 Young Millionaires program. The estimated value of the basket’s products is $200. The youth, from across the province, sold approximately 350 tickets, either individually or in small groups at public locations. The proceeds of $566 will mainly be used to pay for a fun outing at Sandspit Amusement Park in Cavendish.

The basket (to which a beautiful plant was also added) was filled with items such as a large lollipop, a tie-dye PEI dirt shirt, a crocheted bag and bracelet, a shell necklace and a small bottle of Island sand, a diamond art bookmark, two candles, two bracelets and a key chain, three soaps, a coupon for a free T-shirt, six bracelets and a bag of candy, a coupon for 12 cake pops, two silicone keychains and a silicone bookmark, four bookmarks and a necklace with two charms, a necklace with charms, a gift certificate, a coupon for a snow cone, a milkweed plant, two greeting cards, a dozen eggs, and a sea glass art frame.

Through this draw, the young entrepreneurs learned the benefits of working together as a group; by each contributing their small share, they were able to multiply the value of their joint basket several times over.

The youth would like to thank everyone who bought tickets for this draw and who purchased their products throughout the summer.
