Tickets for 2026 Acadian Entrepreneurs Gala now on sale!

Menu and two experienced hosts confirmed

WELLINGTON – Feb. 2, 2026 – Announcing that Amy Richard and Alecia Arsenault will be returning as hosts of its annual Entrepreneurs’ Gala, the Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI is now inviting everyone to purchase tickets to attend the biggest Acadian entrepreneurial recognition event of the year. This colorful and festive 24th edition of the Gala will take place on Saturday, March 21, at the Village musical acadien in Abram-Village.

During the evening, after a magnificent banquet, four individuals will be inducted into the Acadian and Francophone Business Hall of Fame of PEI, and awards will be presented in six entrepreneurial or business categories.

Tickets for the 2026 Gala will be on sale for $50 each (tax included) until March 13 at the Wellington Rural Action Centre. Tickets can also be reserved by contacting Marthe Ngombi at marthe@rdeeipe.org or 902-854-3439. Electronic transfers, credit cards, cheques and cash are accepted methods of payment.

MENU

First of all, the ticket price covers a delicious three-course banquet prepared by Chef Jonathan Duguay : a French biscuit (galette blanche) with butter; a brie-and-apple tart paired with dressed greens, toasted almonds and sea salt; baked chicken breast with sauce forestière, roasted potatoes and seasonal vegetables; and citrus cake, with vanilla buttercream and candied blood orange. As a vegetarian option, there will be stuffed acorn squash, filled with quinoa, cranberries, spinach, and toasted walnuts, drizzled with a maple-balsamic glaze. The meal will a accompanied by a nice wine (choice of red or white).

All participants will receive a promotional gift from ProMax 2000 and the chance to win great door prizes.

HOSTS

Amy Richard has been the financial manager at RDÉE Prince Edward Island since 2007. For several years, she has hosted the Gala and the finals of the Francophone Ignition Contest; she also often helps host games at the P’tite fête des Fêtes Christmas party. She always brings a wonderful liveliness (and a touch of humor) to these events.

Alecia Arsenault, who is coordinating the Gala for the third year, will also be co-hosting it for the third time. A singer and actress since her teens, she also brings a wonderful youthful energy to the Gala. Alecia began her career at the RDÉE in 2022 as coordinator of the PERCÉ program and the Francophone Ignition Contest.
