CHARLOTTETOWN – Feb. 17, 2026 – For a third consecutive year, the IMPACT DD Project will be a Platinum-level sponsor of the Acadian Entrepreneurs’ Gala, which provides a platform for the presentation of its PEI Annul IMPACT DD Recognition Award for 2025.
Gala coordinator Alecia Arsenault recently met with Sebastian Vargas, the RDÉE Prince Edward Island manager who is responsible for the program, to discuss the sponsorship, the evening’s schedule, and the place in the evening that will be set aside for the award presentation. The Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI, which organizes the Gala, is delighted to host this presentation again this year.
This Recognition Award was established three years ago to highlight the significant sustainable development efforts made by businesses and organizations in the province, thereby contributing positively to the environment, the social fabric of the province, and local governance. The 2023 winner was the Société acadienne et francophone de l’ÎPÉ (SAF’Île) in Summerside, while the 2024 winner was Famous Peppers Inc. in Montague.
The public is invited to attend the Gala, which will take place at the Acadian Music Village in Abram-Village on Saturday, March 21, starting at 5:30 p.m. Five other awards will be presented, and four entrepreneurs and business people will be inducted into the PEI Acadian and Francophone Business Hall of Fame. Tickets ($50, tax included) are available until March 13 in person at the Wellington Rural Action Centre, by phone at 902-854-3439, or by email at marthe@rdeeipe.org.
