Provincial Credit Union returns as Gold-level sponsor of Acadian Business Hall of Fame

WELLINGTON – Feb. 23, 2026 – Provincial Credit Union, represented by its Evangeline branch manager, Jessica Gallant (left), is pleased to confirm that it will return as a Gold-level sponsor of the 2026 Acadian Entrepreneurs’ Gala.

Alecia Arsenault, who coordinates the Gala for the Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI, recently met with Gallant to explain the evening’s program, which will take place on Saturday, March 21, at 5:30 p.m. at the Village musical acadien in Abram-Village.

The Credit Union, which has sponsored the Gala since its inception, will be co-sponsor of the PEI Acadian and Francophone Business Hall of Fame awards category. This year’s inductees will be Alcide Bernard of Wellington, Johnny Gallant of St. Timothy, Karen Richard of Urbainville, and Wilfred Thompson of North Bedeque.

The PCU is also the permanent sponsor of the Hall of Fame’s Wall of Honour, located in the Wellington Rural Action Centre’s board room.

Everyone is invited to purchase a ticket to attend the evening and help honor these deserving individuals, as well as the finalists and winners of the six other awards presented during the evening.
