WELLINGTON – Feb. 25, 2026 – A loyal supporter of the Acadian Entrepreneurs’ Gala, MacDonald Insurance & Investments (The Co-operators) is back this year with yet another Gold-level sponsorship. Alecia Arsenault, left, who is coordinating the 2026 edition of the Gala for the Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI, recently met with Julie Cormier, associate financial advisor at the firm’s Wellington office, to discuss their sponsorship of the 2026 Distinguished Employee Award. Company owner Dan MacDonald will have the privilege of presenting the award to one of three finalists:

• Alain Arsenault, sawmill team leader and truck driver at Arsenault Sawmill (2016) Ltd., St. Chrysostome;
• Alison Jenkins, project manager at Actions Femmes ÎPÉ, Summerside;
• Louis Gallant, hardware manager at Wellington Service Station Ltd., Wellington.

Everyone is invited to purchase a ticket to attend the evening event to help honor the finalists in six award categories and the four entrepreneurs and businesspeople who will be inducted into the Entrepreneurial Hall of Fame.
