SUMMERSIDE – Feb. 27, 2026 – Alecia Arsenault, coordinator of the 2026 Entrepreneurs’ Gala, recently met with Claus Schmidt, general manager of the CBDC Central PEI, to discuss their Gold sponsorship of this annual entrepreneurial recognition event. This year, the agency will present certificates to the finalists for the 2026 Business of Excellence Award, Jamie Gallant of MacKay’s Automotive in Wilmot Valley and Christian Gallant of Triquetra Entertainment in Summerside.

Arsenault notes that the CBDC has been a long-time sponsor, for some 20 years in fact, so the Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI is very pleased to be able to count on its continued support. The Gala will take place on Saturday, March 21, at 5:30 p.m. at the Village musical acadien in Abram-Village. All colleagues, friends, and family members of the finalists in all award categories are invited to attend.
