WELLINGTON, PEI – Oct. 19, 2012 – The Wellington branch of the Evangeline-Central Credit Union had the pleasure of welcoming member/co-operators of all ages during its open house Oct. 18.

The credit union offered free snacks, balloons, pens as well as tickets for prize draws. Xavier Fitzgerald-Gallant of Wellington, who is six years old, graciously accepted a balloon and a cupcake from marketing officer Diane McInnis.

The community-owned financial institution also accepted donations of non-perishable foods for the Summerside food bank.

This day was part of 2012 Co-op Week.
