SUMMERSIDE – July 18, 2022 – The owners of Global Wines and Sharon’s Cake Creations, Curtis and Sharon Lynch of Summerside, will once again be donating some great prizes for participants of the Acadian Golf Tournament. They are offering a beautiful wine making kit and a $50 gift card towards the purchase of cakes. Curtis Lynch is seen offering their contribution to Jeannette Gallant, tournament coordinator. The 16th edition of the tournament, a fundraiser for the PEI Regional Committee of Les Jeux de l’Acadie, will be held Sunday, Aug. 21, at the Mill River Golf Course in Woodstock at 1 p.m. (Everyone is asked to arrive at 12 noon.)

All beginners and experienced golfers who wish to participate ($100 per person or $400 per team) must register by Aug. 16 by contacting Gallant at 902-439-2791 or by email at jeannettegallant@gov.pe.ca. Your registration will provide you with an 18-hole round of golf, two carts per team, snacks and beverages at various locations along the course, a light supper and a chance to win a number of competitive and random draw prizes. Among these prizes will be golf passes, promotional items and all sorts of goodies.
