Better informed on intellectual property

WELLINGTON, PEI – June 14, 2013 – Four representatives of companies and organizations gathered in Wellington June 13 to get better informed on the main intellectual property (IP) rights: patents, trademarks, copyrights and industrial designs.

During her annual tour to PEI, Cécile Klein, business development officer with the Canadian Intellectual Property Office, hosted the information session.

The Wellington Rural Action Centre had again teamed up with the Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce to host this event.

Participants, who asked lots of specific questions, truly appreciated the free, two-hour presentation, entitled “Intellectual Property: What’s In It for Me?”
