Last call – Spots still available for Acadian Golf Tournament

WOODSTOCK – Aug. 7, 2019 – We still have spots for several more golfers at our 14th Acadian Golf Tournament, which will be held Friday, Aug. 16, at Mill River Golf Course in Woodstock. If you haven’t already done so, we invite you to sign up with your employees, board members or family members!

In addition to receiving an 18-hole round of golf and a delicious supper, you will have the chance to win all kinds of great prizes. Some of these prizes will be offered to the winners of certain contests, but the majority of the prizes will be awarded by random draw.

On the list of prizes to be won (among others): a barbecue, a table saw, a wine kit, $500 in cash, many gift cards and gift certificates, a membership to a fitness center, a newspaper subscription, passes to events and tourist attractions, golf shirts and a host of promotional items. Other prizes are continually being added to the list.

In addition, all participants will receive a package of golf balls, sunglasses, beverages, various foods and the list goes on.

This tournament, which is jointly organized by the PEI Regional Committee of Les Jeux de l’Acadie and the Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI, is a fundraising event that will allow more than 100 Island youth to participate in the next Jeux de l’Acadie Finals in Saint John, NB.

Registration for this social and recreational tournament is open to EVERYONE, regardless of their level of athletic ability. A special call is being sent out to people who will attend the 2019 Congrès mondial acadien’s family reunions (including the Arsenault and Haché-Gallant families).

The registration fee is $90 per person or $360 per team of four.
