Acadian Chamber and Collège Acadie ÎPÉ to network with Summerside business community

reseautageSUMMERSIDE – April 23, 2014 – The Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI (CCAFLIPE) and the Collège Acadie ÎPÉ will jointly welcome the Anglophone business community of Summerside May 15 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Centre Belle-Alliance in Summerside.

In fact, these two partners will serve as hosts of a regular business mixer organized by the Greater Summerside Chamber of Commerce. The networking reception’s theme will be “Food and Accommodations”; several of the booths on display will focus on this theme.

“Our objective is to get better known by the Summerside business community since we are partner-members of their Anglophone chamber,” says Jeannette Arsenault, spokesperson for the Acadian Chamber. “We are always looking for new avenues of collaboration so we hope this public relations event will bear fruit.”

“The College is looking to provide staffing and personnel training services to the greater Summerside business community. The timing couldn’t be better since the tourism season is fast approaching,” adds College president Donald DesRoches.

All members and friends of both Chambers as well as all other business people are invited to attend this free business mixer to learn more about the various services provided by the organizers and other exhibitors.

A variety of hors d’oeuvres will be served. All booths, including those set up by the Acadian Chamber and the College, will offer interesting door prizes; several will also distribute free promotional items. A cash bar service will be available.

The event’s main sponsor will be Key Murray Law.

The Acadian Chamber and the College had hosted the Charlottetown business community during a similar mixer in April. About 100 people had attended; a number of important contacts were made.
