SUMMERSIDE – Aug. 9, 2017 – All those who participate in the 12th Annual Acadian Golf Tournament Sunday, Sept. 10, at 1 p.m. at Glasgow Hills Golf Course in New Glasgow, will get a chance to win a brand-new Honda car worth $35,000 if they get a hole-in-one at a particular hole.
This prize is made possible through a collaborative effort by Centennial Honda of Summerside, represented here by sales consultant Chris Casey, second from left, and Mike Bradley Insurance Services – The Co-operators, represented by company president Mike Bradley, right. They were joined for the announcement by Jeannette Gallant, coordinator of the PEI Regional Committee of Les Jeux de l’Acadie, and Raymond J. Arsenault, coordinator of the Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI, the two organizations that are organizing the tournament.
This event, as always, is a fundraiser that will help more than 100 French-speaking PEI youth participate in the 2018 Finals of Les Jeux de l’Acadie in Miramichi, NB. To register for the tournament (at a cost of $90 per person or $360 per team), contact Gallant at (902) 854-7435 or at Jeannettegallant@gov.pe.ca
