Acadian community hosts another business mixer for Greater Charlottetown Chamber of Commerce

Francophone and Anglophone entrepreneurs invited

chtownmixerlowresCHARLOTTETOWN – March 10, 2015 – For a second year in a row, the Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI, the Collège Acadie Î.-P.-É. and the Carrefour de l’Isle-Saint-Jean are joining forces to jointly host the Greater Charlottetown Chamber of Commerce’s March business mixer.

All Francophone and Anglophone entrepreneurs from Charlottetown and all over the province are being invited to attend this free business mixer, to be held Wednesday, March 25, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the Carrefour at 5 Acadian Dr. in Charlottetown.

Participants will first get to meet a variety of business people. They’ll then be able to hosted by main sponsor MRSB Group, the Acadian Chamber/RDÉE PEI, the Collège Acadie Î.-P.-É., Stewart Travel Group, Innovation PEI, the PEI Association of Newcomers to Canada, the PEI Connectors and the Jeux de l’Acadie (Acadian Games) to learn all about their products and services.

The PEI Association of Newcomers to Canada, also a partner in the event, will celebrate its DiverseCity Festival by presenting a mini-show of multicultural music and dance, ethnic foods and games such as mah jong and henna.

Various hors d’oeuvres, prepared by Carrefour Chef Pierre El-Hajjar, will be served. A bar service will be offered. A variety of door prizes will be given.
