Back as a sponsor of the Acadian Golf Tournament

CAPE EGMONT – Aug. 25, 2021 – The tourist attraction The Bottle Houses in Cape Egmont is very pleased to be back as a hole sponsor of the Acadian Golf Tournament, which is in its 15th year. Like other sponsors, the company will receive, in exchange for its $100 contribution, a sign that will be placed near one of the tournament’s golf holes; its name will also be listed on a scorecard distributed to participants.

Proceeds from the tournament will be donated to the PEI Regional Committee of Les Jeux de l’Acadie to help fund its annual youth programming (including participation in the next Finals).

Jeannette Gallant, right, Jeux and tournament coordinator, is seen accepting the sponsorship from The Bottle Houses from manager Ricky Hitchcock and owner Angie Cormier. They encourage all other businesses and organizations to sponsor the tournament, which tees off Sept. 12 at noontime at Mill River Golf Course in Woodstock.

All interested parties are asked to contact Gallant immediately at 902-439-2791 or jeannettegallant@gov.pe.ca. There are still a few spots for golfers who would like to play. Registration is $400 per team of four. This covers an 18-hole round, two carts, a delicious meal and a chance to win many prizes.
