WELLINGTON – October 22, 2021 – Wellington Co-op patrons enjoyed several dozen barbecued hamburgers and hotdogs Friday at noon for Co-op Day, which was part of Co-op and Small Business Week. In exchange, they offered monetary donations totaling $338 that will be donated to the “Every Child Matters” campaign, a movement to honour residential school survivors across the country, their families and their communities. At left are two of the store’s employees, manager Annette Doherty and Susan Gallant, who prepared and served the food, with two of their customers, Lillian Wedge and Arlene Perry.
