Better informed about social media

WELLINGTON – Feb. 18, 2020 – A dozen Island businesspeople, both anglophones and francophones, attended a second bilingual lunch-and-learn Tuesday in Wellington to learn how to better use social media to promote their businesses, organizations, products and activities. Guest speakers Robyn Gallant of Eventurous Consulting and Maureen Kerr of Kerr Consulting offered excellent suggestions, while explaining the difference between Facebook and Instagram and how they can be used to reach different target audiences, either through paid advertising or regular postings. They also briefly explained the technical side of these two social media.
