CBDC to help out with business plan lunch & learn

WELLINGTON, PEI – Jan. 29, 2013 – CBDC Central PEI in Summerside, which regularly helps businesses prepare their business plans, will actively help out with the delivery of a lunch-and-learn on the preparation of business plans being organized Tuesday, Feb. 19, at 12 noon in the RDÉE PEI meeting room in Wellington.

The main speaker for the session, Giselle Bernard, former economic and entrepreneurial development officer with RDÉE Prince Edward Island, has just announced that Paul Gillespie, the CBDC’s commercial loans officer, will accompany her to help answer participants’ questions.

“As a current provider of this service, he will be an indispensable resource for this session,” notes a release from the lunch-and-learn’s organizers, the Wellington Rural Action Centre and the Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI.

The session is aimed primarily at entrepreneurs and people who are considering establishing a business.

The registration fee for this event, which covers both the session and a lunch, is $5 for Chamber members and $10 for non-members. Those wishing to participate must register no later than Feb. 15 by contacting Jeannine Arsenault at (902) 854-2328, Ext. 228, or at Jeannine@sdbaipe.org.
