WELLINGTON – March 21, 2022 – The Co-operators Insurance agent who will now serve the Wellington and surrounding area is also taking on the company’s long-time sponsorship of the Entrepreneurs’ Gala, hosted annually by the Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI. Dan MacDonald Insurance & Investments, which has been a Co-operators agency in the western part of the Island since 2013, readily accepted the Chamber’s request. In fact, the company will be sponsoring and presenting the 2022 Social Economy Business of the Year Award. Gala coordinator Raymond J. Arsenault, left, recently met Dan MacDonald to give him an overview of the entrepreneurial recognition event, which is slated this year for Saturday, April 9, at 5:30 p.m. at the Acadian Musical Village in Abram-Village. Nine trophies, including four to the people who will be inducted into the Acadian and Francophone Business Hall of Fame, will be presented during the gala evening.
