Excellent finalists all deserving of awards

ABRAM-VILLAGE – April 11, 2021 – According to the Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI, all the finalists of its most recent entrepreneurial awards competition were well deserving since they accomplish so much and contribute so much to the community. It wishes it could have presented a trophy to each one at its Entrepreneurs’ Gala Sunday afternoon. The Chamber therefore wanted to recognize all the finalists by presenting them with certificates.

RDÉE PEI president Christian Lacroix presents the certificates to the finalists of the 2020 Business Hall of Fame Award to Jerry and Marcel Arsenault and to Martin Marcoux, who accepted on behalf of Patrick Villeneuve.

RDÉE PEI executive director Bonnie Gallant presents the certificates to the finalists of the 2020 Business Excellence Award: Mermaid Marine Products (represented by Martin Marcoux), the Wellington Royal Canadian Legion (represented by manager Mike Gallant) and the Wellington Co-op (represented by president Lisa Arsenault).

Board member Dianne Getson presents the certificate to the only finalist for the 2020 Immigrant Entrepreneur award, Rafael Aguirre.

RDÉE PEI president Christian Lacroix presents the certificates to the finalists of the 2020 Social Economy Business Award: Lisa Arsenault from the Wellington Co-op, Kathleen Couture from the Association des centres de la petite enfance francophones de l’ÎPÉ and Mike Gallant from the Wellington Royal Canadian Legion.

Samantha Lawther and Maria Arsenault accepted their certificates as finalists for the 2020 Young Enterprising Person of the Year Award from board member Dianne Getson.
