WELLINGTON – Feb. 25, 2020 – Évangéline-Central Credit Union, one of the most faithful sponsors of the Entrepreneurs’ Gala organized by the Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI, is returning for the 19th edition of the Gala. Alfred Arsenault, right, general manager of the credit union, recently presented the sponsorship cheque to Gala coordinator Raymond J. Arsenault. As well, as announced last fall, the credit union is also the permanent sponsor of the new Acadian and Francophone Business Hall of Fame. That contribution will cover costs related to the general signage of the Hall of Fame as well as the preparation of the plaques for the 16 first business people who’ll be inducted as a group at the Gala. The sponsorship also pays for the Gala tickets for the inductees or their representatives. With this arrangement, the credit union becomes the permanent sponsor and presenter of the annual Hall of Fame award. The Gala is slated for Saturday, March 14, at 5 p.m. at the Centre Belle-Alliance in Summerside; tickets are sold out.
