WELLINGTON – Feb. 28, 2019 – There’s lots of buzz in the air at the offices of RDÉE Prince Edward Island and the Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI in Wellington as the team is taking care of the countless last-minute preparations for their “biggest entrepreneurial recognition evening of the year”. Only a few days remain before their big evening that brings together the finals of their 2019 Francophone Ignition Contest and their 2019 Acadian Entrepreneurs’ Gala, Saturday, March 16, at the Centre Belle-Alliance in Summerside.
During the first part of the evening, kicking off at 5 p.m., three finalists will present their business project proposals to a panel of judges for a chance to win $25,000. Next, during the Gala, starting at 6 p.m., the efforts of 19 finalists will be recognized and trophies will be presented to eight winners in seven award categories. Tickets, at $40 each for the entire evening, are on sale until March 8.
