CHARLOTTETOWN – Nov. 8, 2018 – All French-speaking people who would like to learn how to prepare a resumé and a cover letter to help them in their search for work are invited to attend a free workshop Nov. 22 from 5-7 p.m. at the Carrefour de l’Isle-Saint-Jean (at 5 Acadian Drive) in Charlottetown. (An earlier date for the workshop had to be changed.)
The LIENS Project, RDÉE PEI’s immigrant employability and entrepreneurship initiative, is offering this training. Its coordinator Chérine Stevula will be the trainer.
She notes that the workshop is aimed particularly at newcomers but any other person who speaks and writes in French is also welcomed.
A free supper will be provided. Child care services are also available.
Those who are interested must sign up by Nov. 20 by visiting the project website at www.liensipe.ca (in the section “Inscrivez-vous à nos activités”), or by phone at 902-370-7333, Ext. 404, or by email at email@example.com.
