CEO of the Caisse populaire de Shippagan, Lanteigne is currently secretary-treasurer of the Economic Council of New Brunswick (CÉNB). An active member on many committees and boards in this province, he succeeds Collin Bourgeois as president of RDÉE Canada.
« I am very pleased to have the support and confidence of the network,” says the new president. “I believe in the power of this important French national business network and I am proud to represent the Atlantic Provinces on the Board of Directors.”
« It also gives me great pride,” he said, “to accept the challenge of being the first Acadian president from the Atlantic Provinces since the inception of RDÉE Canada. I am honored to contribute to economic development and job creation in the Francophone and Acadian communities by working with a committed, dynamic, and dedicated Board of Directors. It is through diligence and cooperation in our governing capacity that we will achieve our vision and our mission. We will foster and value teamwork to build close ties and relationships with provincial and territorial RDÉEs.”
« Moreover,” he adds, “we must strengthen the feelings of pride in this cause and especially of mutual trust as we strive to achieve our projects within national, provincial and territorial governments. Through the ongoing hard work and strong collaboration of our new CEO, Jean Léger, and his team, we are confident that we can achieve our goals and maintain relationships with provincial and territorial RDÉEs as well as with our business partners. Thus, we can carry out projects that will strengthen our Francophone regions throughout the country.”
« The Board of Directors and the team are committed to creating a close working relationship with its members and to develop a system of fluid communication between the national office and provincial offices, and, in order to respond quickly to their concerns, to provide effective support in regards to the challenges they wish to address. As I often say,” he notes in closing, “through teamwork, not only do we achieve results quickly- together, we achieve more.”
