Great professional radio voices to be featured at Acadian Entrepreneurs’ Gala

Tickets now on sale

CHARLOTTETOWN – Feb. 20, 2020 – Radio-Canada Acadie continues its tradition of sponsoring the annual Acadian Entrepreneurs’ Gala, organized by the Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI. Its sponsorship takes the form of a loan of service – or rather, a loan of the beautiful professional voices of Denis Duchesne (centre of photo) and Gabrielle Drumond, hosts of the morning show Le Réveil.

These two have prepared audio recordings of the short biographies of the Gala’s award finalists. When the participants at this evening of entrepreneurial recognition see images of the finalists’ lives on the big screen, it will be the voices of Mr. Duchesne and Ms. Drumond that they will hear. Gala coordinator Raymond J. Arsenault recently visited the show’s studio to discuss the recordings.

Arsenault also reported that tickets for the Gala, at $40 each (taxes included), are now on sale at RDÉE Prince Edward Island’s offices in Wellington and Charlottetown as well as at the Centre Belle-Alliance in Summerside. The 2020 Gala will take place Saturday, March 14, starting at 5 p.m., at the Centre Belle-Alliance.

During the formal evening, CCAFLIPE will present eight entrepreneurial awards and induct 16 past winners of its Distinguished Entrepreneur Award into its new PEI Acadian and Francophone Business Hall of Fame. The meal will include three courses with wine.
