WELLINGTON, PEI – June 27, 2013 – Six people from the Evangeline region who regularly greet customers, mostly in the tourism sector, participated in a full day of training in customer service June 27 at the Wellington Rural Action Centre (RAC).
Once they completed the course, participants received a SuperHost Atlantic certification, an internationally recognized customer service brand.
The training, delivered in French, was offered by the RAC and the Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Tourism Industry Association of PEI. Participants said they were extremely pleased with the new methods they learned.
Among the young participants in the course were Marina Sanford (seated), Abel Arsenault and Ashley Arsenault, show with bilingual trainer Heather Carver of Summerside.
