WOODSTOCK – Aug. 11, 2022 – There are still spaces for golfers who would like to participate in the 16th Acadian Golf Tournament on Sunday, Aug. 21, 2022, at 1 p.m. at the Mill River Course in Woodstock. However, you must act quickly as the deadline for registration is this Tuesday, Aug. 16.

The organizers – the PEI Regional Committee of Les Jeux de l’Acadie and the Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI – would really like to get 100 golfers in the tournament.

All beginners or experienced golfers who wish to participate in the tournament (at a cost of $100 per person or $400 per team) must register by contacting Jeannette Gallant by phone at 902-439-2791 or by email at jeannettegallant@gov.pe.ca. E-transfers are the preferred method of payment.

Registration includes a round of 18 holes, two carts per team, snacks along the way, a light supper, small promotional gifts and a chance to win a number of great prizes awarded by merit or draw. The name of the winning team will be inscribed on a permanent plaque.

The funds raised will allow the PEI Regional Committee to organize its annual programming, including participation of more than 100 youth in the next finales of Les Jeux de l’Acadie in Memramcook, New Brunswick.
