WELLINGTON – April 20, 2016 – Managers of businesses and organizations will get the opportunity to learn how to promote their products, services and events through the Twitter social media during a free workshop entitled « Learn to Tweet » Wednesday, May 11, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, at the Wellington Rural Action Centre (RAC), located at 48 Mill Rd.
Brent Byrnes, marketing manager with Innovation PEI, will facilitate the workshop in English. The RAC and the Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI will jointly host this informative workshop.
“Does your business or organization wish to learn how to Tweet, but not certain of how to get started? This session is for you,” notes a promotional blurb for the workshop. “People come to Twitter to discover what is happening in the world, to share information instantly and to connect with people and businesses around the globe. No matter what type of business you are, you can use Twitter to build connections with a network of customers.”
