WELLINGTON, PEI – Jan. 18, 2013 – Seven employees from Evangeline area businesses and organizations were trained in emergency first aid and cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) Jan. 18 in Wellington to obtain their official certification. Here, Canadian Red Cross instructor Luc Sonier from Dieppe, N.B., is seen explaining to Yvette Arsenault, Muriel Bernard and Alvina Bernard how to administer artificial respiration. This training was delivered to help francophone employers comply with new regulations to the Occupational Health and Safety Act. The course was organized jointly by the Rural Action Centre in Wellington and the Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI.
