WELLINGTON – April 23, 2021 – Entrepreneurs, employers, employees and job seekers who wish to learn more about Skills PEI’s various financial support programs are invited to attend a lunch-and-learn session at the Wellington Rural Action Centre on Thursday, May 20, at 12 noon.
Velma LeBlanc, Skills PEI’s bilingual program officer, will host the French information session, which will last approximately one hour. She will mainly explain the benefits, eligibility criteria and application process of the agency’s four main programs:
• Self Employ PEI;
• Employ PEI;
• Graduate Mentorship Program for Employers;
• Workplace Skills Training.
She will also provide an overview of other agency programs.
At the beginning of the session, which will be co-hosted by the Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI and the Wellington Rural Action Centre, participants will enjoy a light lunch.

Organizers are also offering people the chance to participate virtually and free of charge via Zoom. You must indicate your preference at the time of registration; a Zoom link will be sent to online participants.
