CORNWALL, PEI – Nov. 22, 2012 – Representatives of the Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI and the French Chamber of Commerce of PEI, Atlantic Network, made their annual trek to Cornwall Nov. 21 to participate in the monthly business mixer hosted by the Greater Charlottetown Chamber of Commerce.
They shared a booth with RDÉE PEI and the Conseil de développement coopératif de l’Î.-P.-É., where they distributed information about their organizations and activities with the more than 125 business people from the capital that attended the reception.
The French Chamber also provided free samples of the new French wine, Beaujolais Nouveau. Charlottetown Chamber president Keith Lambe, left, proposes a toast to his counterparts Maurice Guitton, president of the French Chamber, and Martin Marcoux, board member of the Acadian Chamber.

Everyone who participates in these mixers could drop their business card in a basket for the draw. The prize, worth more than $60, consisted of a T-shirt, a padfolio, a notebook and pen, a metallic water bottle, mints and a cellphone holder.
