CHARLOTTETOWN – Nov. 22, 2018 – RDÉE Prince Edward Island celebrated the 15th anniversary of its highly successful PERCÉ internship program in grand style Tuesday night in Charlottetown. Speaker after speaker praised the program’s highly respected 80 per cent repatriation rate of Island postsecondary students and expressed gratitude for the program opening doors that would not have been opened otherwise. It was noted that 287 young Islanders have so far participated in the program. About 50 people were on hand for the celebration. Cutting the anniversary cake were, from left, former intern Gabriel Arsenault, program supervisor Stéphane Blanchard, Premier Wade MacLauchlan, RDÉE PEI president Martin Marcoux and Sonny Gallant, minister of Workforce and Advanced Studies.
