CHARLOTTETOWN – March 16, 2022 – Radio-Canada Acadie continues its long-standing tradition of sponsoring the annual Entrepreneurs’ Gala hosted by the Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI. As always, its sponsorship comes in the form of a loan of service – or more specifically, a loan of the beautiful, professional, radio-friendly voice of host-producer Denis Duchesne from the morning show Le Réveil (Prince Edward Island). Duchesne prepared audio recordings of short biographies of the 14 finalists and award winners for the Chamber. When participants in this evening of entrepreneurial recognition see images of the finalists’ lives appear on the big screen, it will be Mr. Duchesne’s voice that they will hear recounting their career paths. The 2022 Gala will be held on Saturday, April 9, starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Village musical acadien in Abram-Village. During this formal evening, the CCAFLIPE will present five entrepreneurial awards and induct four businesspeople into its Acadian and Francophone Business Hall of Fame of PEI.
