Guest speaker offers ways to become better business leader

remerciement-sebastien-richardlowresSUMMERSIDE – Oct. 19, 2016 – To become a better entrepreneurial leader, one must become intentional, work on one’s strengths, surround oneself with winners, become a lifelong student and become a serving leader, suggested speaker-coach-author Sébastien Richard during the Entrepreneurs’ and Co-operators’ Breakfast at Centre Belle-Alliance in Summerside Tuesday morning.

Twenty-eight people – entrepreneurs, organizational leaders and economic development officers – came to hear the inspirational and motivational comments spoken by this member of the international network of speakers from The John Maxwell Team, who has been living on PEI for the past four years.

The breakfast was part of the programming for Co-op and Small Business Week as well as the Summerside Pumpkin Festival, hosted by La Belle-Alliance. The Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI, RDÉE PEI and the Wellington Rural Action Centre jointly organized this annual event, which was sponsored once again by CBDC Central PEI.

In the photo, Richard is being thanked for his much-appreciated comments from left Tania Bernard, loan officer with CBDC Central PEI, Velma Robichaud from the Wellington Rural Action Centre and Jeannette Arsenault, president of RDÉE PEI.
