WELLINGTON – March 2, 2022 – The Wellington Co-op, which is one of the province’s liquor agency stores, is co-sponsoring the Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI’s Entrepreneurs’ Gala for a first time. Its second-level monetary sponsorship will help pay for the bottles of white and red wine that will be provided at each table of the Gala, which will be held Saturday, April 9, at the Village musical acadien in Abram-Village. This wine will be used to toast the finalists and winners of this 20th edition of the Gala, which is also the Chamber’s largest entrepreneurial recognition event of the year. Co-op store manager Annette Doherty recently met with Raymond J. Arsenault, Gala and Chamber coordinator, to discuss the sponsorship arrangement. Tickets for the Gala are on sale at the Wellington Rural Action Centre until March 31, 2022.
