SUMMERSIDE – Jan. 13, 2015 – The Wellington Rural Action Centre (RAC) is much more than a resource or reference centre for entrepreneurs and community organizations, said RAC officer Ève-Alexandra St-Laurent during the Members’ Luncheon organized by the Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI Tuesday in Summerside.
Noting that the key word is “action”, she explained the bilingual centre can help clients explore many different avenues for funding, expansion, training, human resources development and increased productivity.
The officer can help clients brainstorm about business ideas or can even visit client businesses to discuss their projects. Several people noted they were impressed by the vast array of services available. Here, St-Laurent, left, is seen with client Caroline Legault following the luncheon.
