WELLINGTON – April 20, 2015 – Fifteen people from the community learned a series of yoga exercises to help them relax and reduce their stress levels at the office during a lunch-and-learn at Vanier Centre in Wellington Monday, April 20. Trainer Karen Langevin of Charlottetown, second from right, focused primarily on breathing and muscle stretches, while insisting on the importance of keeping one’s spine balanced. These exercises were aimed primarily at people who do office work.
Seen with Langevin, practicing a sitting-and-twisting exercise, from left are Catherine Rioux from the LIENS project, Ève-Alexandra St-Laurent from the Wellington Rural Action Centre and Karine Gallant from Jeunesse acadienne. The lunch-and-learn was organized jointly by the Wellington Rural Action Centre and the Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI.
