Wellington Rural Action Centre
This bilingual centre was established in 2013 to help entrepreneurs and community organizations in the Evangeline and surrounding areas obtain the support services they need to bring their projects to fruition. It can also serve francophone clients from across the Island.
The center's customer support agent can help them, free of charge, find information on a wide range of entrepreneurial topics, identify sources of financing, set up appointments with government officials and more.
Wellington's Rural Action Centre (RAC) gives customers one-stop access to RDÉE Prince Edward Island, the Acadian and Francophone Chamber of Commerce of PEI, CBDC Central PEI, the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, Innovation PEI and the provincial Department of Fisheries, Rural Development and Tourism.
This centre is part of a provincial network funded by Innovation P.E.I., ACOA, and the provincial Department of Fisheries, Rural Development and Tourism. Other centres are located in Montague and Alberton.
